Really glad to invest in a DSLR as it allows me to capture those memorable moments, especially those split seconds expressions. The IXUS is great but tends to have difficulties focusing in dim lighting. On the other hand, the new range of Nikon DSLR excels under such conditions, you get very acceptable noise level up to 3200. A great advantage when flash is a no no to babies. Hope to strike TOTO or 4D soon, so that I can get that F2.8 lens!
