D90 Overheats

The D90 is not a video camera. Yes, we almost got burn today. We were out for a shoot under the hot May sun. The live view mode was turned on for the longest time since I it bought last year. Less than an hour later, a counter appears beside the Mode icon on the LCD, limiting the filming time to 30secs before it is shut down.

I cannot imagine if we are filming some important moments such as a launch or solemnization when the camera fails to perform! Ouch. Some of the D90 footages on Vimeo.
