Taiwan Day 7

Day Seven: Taoyuan (Furano) to Taipei

Home stay are great as it offers a rural experience, away from our busy lifestyle. Look for this plaque that certifies the setup as an official home stay in Taiwan.

The sheep motifs are everywhere.

Walking down slope, you get a glimpse of the main building. Our room is the 2nd a-shaped roof from the left.

Further down, surrounded by bamboo, there is a huge compound catered for outdoor barbecue and meals.

A wishing wall lined with bamboo. The path leads to a pond and the insect trail.

The sheep cottage is located further down the slope, with grazing grounds surrounding it.

Local tourist, many who see sheep for the first time!

They will just look at you.....and say mae...mae....

This photo puts everything into perspective. The home stay is built on a slope. Far right is a town with ridges that stretches to the horizon.

In a flash, we are in Taipei! One of the eateries we frequent in Ximending.

Common side dishes that you accompanied with rice or noodles.

The pace in Taipei seems to be moving much faster than Tainan. As the biggest city, there are lots more cars, people and signboards. Taxi (kown as little yellow) are everywhere, anytime.

There is no door installed in their underground mrt station
