Taiwan Day 9

Day 9: Taipei

Another hot and cloudless day. Heading across the street, walking towards Taipei Station.

Another historical building, The Red House. Currently use as a performing art center. Walk towards the new extension where they feature design products from budding artist and designer.

Crossing the road toward FE21 building. One of the biggest billboard ads on a building.

A local market in the mist of buildings.

Back Alley.

Walking down to Wu Chang Street to Bookshop streets. There are a no. of bookstore here, a must visit for book lovers.

Further down is the Photography Street. The area around Kiafeng ad Hankou Street.

Our 2nd nite market in Taipei. Shilin Night Market. Alight at Jiantan Station on the red line. The market is just a stone throw away.

First head toward the food area to savor all the delicacies. Look for those stores that are fully packed.

From noodles to steak and local delights. There are no English signboard, just point at the food if you are lost!

The main shopping area is across the road. Explore around the streets or simply follow the crowd.

One of the biggest and busiest night market in Taiwan. There are shops on both sides of the streets with illegal vendors setting stalls in the center. Bring lots of cash here but beware of pickpockets.
