Today is the Volvo Ocean Race, Singapore in port race. Think of it as F1 along the coast. The race is much further out shore than I expected. I reckon this is the first time such race has a pit stop in Singapore, which is a good thing as more international events are held here.
This gives an idea how far the boats are away and my kit lens simply can't "make it"!
I reckon you need at least a 300mm to do the job. Take a look at the official images.
