Not long after the New Year break, Chinese New Year is already around the corner. It's again time to visit the CNY night market at Chinatown.
At around 5pm, the crowd starts to pack the streets. At 8pm, you will have to "force" you way through. Normally people will scout the stalls and return the week before new year when prices will normally drop.
This year is the year of the OX, Earth Ox to be precise. As Earth complement the Ox, it make the Ox "stronger" thus its forecast as an auspicious year.
Some snapshots of the new year goodies and decorations. Enjoy.
