mini vacation

It was donkey years ago when we last visit Sentosa, Singapore one and only resort island!
With the development of the Integrated Resort, Sentosa Cove and other entertainment establishments, the island is set to change for the better.

Carved into the natural greenery, Siloso Beach Resort looks like a modern version of Mayan site. After check in, you are greeted by a water feature which flows into the swimming pool. A word of caution to adults: do not try the slide unless you like to get yr butt bruised!

There are mixed reviews on the resort, the negative ones are really bad. The resort is nicely landscaped but it seems to be still in a development stage. The villas are located on one side of he pool.

on the other side are the rooms. Somehow the landscape is not well maintained, not sure if its to maintain the rustic feel. If you swim by the poolside, you will notice that there are lots of visible insect infected plants.

on the other hand, its great to see the integration of natural into the architecture.

The beach is just a stone throw away with Café del Mar right at our door step. Not recommended for light sleeper as they party into the night!

Oh, but anyway as long as you get to enjoy yourself, how much its worth is secondary. Most impt you guys get to chill and relax.
