mini vacation part 2: Songs of the Sea

For a mere SGD$6, you can enjoy the "multi sensory extravaganza", Songs of the Sea! This is one of the latest attraction in Sentosa.

that's Oscar, the animated character in the show! If you have kids and have already spend $$$ on the island, avoid the gift shop!

the show features huge water jets, lasers, pyrotechnics and a bunch of Crocs shoed actors that lip synced with dramatic movements. The show is very "Singapore"! which is good to certain extend. I loved the backdrop which is lined by a row of attap houses, commonly found in Malay fishing village.Try get a seat at the front row, in front of the house with the pointed roof. That's the center of all the actions!
