Japan: Meals Part 1

Let's look at food in Japan, from buffet in a typical tour package to street food in Tokyo.

On average each meal cost around $1000 yen, SGD$13. Compare to a packet of chicken rice SGD$3 from a hawker center, living standard is considered expensive or very expensive.

cheapest meal...rice cake. Available in most convenient store. But it's a guessing game what;s inside.

our dinner at Haneda airport. There are 2 big stores selling foods and pastries. Each bento box cost around $1000+ yen.
