1. ATM do not operate 24hrs, so you dun get robbed.
2. 70% of Japaneses smoke
3. Japanese own 2 cars, white plate (1.5Litre above) for long distance travel and yellow plate for short distance (less than 1litre)
4. There is almost no rubbish bin...all trash are recycled. Japanese bring trash back home.
5. In some neighborhood, you need to cut open yr paper milk carton, dry them before you place them in recycle bins.
6. Japanese in Hokkaido do not jaywalk, even on a small street without cars.
7. A can of Pepsi cost more than SGD$2 from a vending machine.
8. Japanese shopping centres close around 8.30pm but food store opens till 2300
9. Japanese women are slim because of their diet
10. There are only 3 brands of milk powder, that's why you do not see milk powder advertisement.
11. Top career choice for Japanese women is to be a housewife.
12. Japan is not a tourist driven country. Most places of interest are catered for locals.
13. Bargain is not a common practice in Japan.
14. Secret society are licensed in Japan and they recruit in papers just like any other company.
