一个月了: Full Month

Finally we have reached another milestone, Megan's full month. In Chinese tradition the full month is an important event. During the olden days, infant mortality rates are high in China, thus its a blessing if the baby survive the first month. This date also marks the completion of mummy's confinement period. I reckon Jen is quite sick of the confinement food!

I am also glad that I have the opportunity to take time off to accompany Megan. We do not have maid nor confinement lady, this gives us the opportunity to spend a lot more time with Megan. She has grown much in these 4 weeks. Her kicks are getting forceful and she is starting to recognize both our voices.

It's still a long road ahead but it will be one that we look forward to.
