Pretty gloomy sky this Christmas morning thus no chance for a blue sky. Headed down to Tiong Bahru estate, a place that never runs out of good subject.
There are no lifts installed in these old housing, instead you get a back staircase that runs down the alley. It's a pretty daunting task to carry all those bulky furniture if your unit is on the 4th floor.
Doubt any households still utilized these spiral staircase. Most of the back doors are locked or access maybe granted if you are living on the ground floor.
some of the back alley are really narrow and allows vehicle to pass thru. Dun expect a 3 point turn here!
A provision shop selling everything to anything. The colors are simply amazing.
There are still a few old shophouses along the main road. Wonder if they outline the characters before painting or its freehand!
