We met our Gyne today and she indicated an induced birth on the 37 weeks. That means it will be 3 weeks to Megan! She is now 2.8 kg and I reckon she will be >3 kg when born! 
After much discussion, we have also decided to donate our bb cord blood to the public bank. There is so much debate on the storing of cord blood and I strongly encourage parents to read more about it. There is no right or wrong to whether you sld store your bb cord blood. Private storage is like buying insurance and you have to weigh factors such as cost and if your family has history of blood disorders.
It is also interesting to know that the blood drawn from the placenta may not be sufficient or suitable for storage. Therefore there are still several factors that contribute to a successful collection.

Hi Dewi, Jen has gestational diabetes. So it will be better to induce birth at ard 37 weeks. Good for both BB and Mother!
