Angsana Bintan Day1

If you are tired of Sentosa, an hour of ferry ride brings you to the Island of Bintan. Some say Bintan is developed just for Singaporean or tourist who runs out of places to visit while in Singapore. On the Northern coast, you will find an entire stretch of land lined with resorts.

Typical resort checkin time is 3pm. We took the 12;10 ferry from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. Check in was a breeze. If you have forgetten yor sunblock ot tanning lotion, there is a mama shop/money changer selling all that. Food is available at the Killiney Cafe.

The ferry took around 45minutes...take a short nap and you are there, Bintan's ferry terminal! For beer lovers, grab the beer at the shops in the terminal, cost at the hotel is few time more $$$. It's another 10 minutes car ride across what's look like barren land, except for that tiger on the power structure.

Upon arrival at Angsana Bintan, we are greeted by friendly staff and more friendly staff. We are given a room the fourth floor with a superb view of the South China Sea. You see the pool in front and the Spa in the background.
