The Chinese seventh month falls on August. This is one full month of celebration for the Hungry Ghost festival and it peaks on the 15th day of the month (full moon). Our family makes another round of visit to pray to our ancestors during this period. The offering ends on the 15th, leaving rows of empty tables.
Some families will purchase paper money and big houses as seen here to be burn (sent) to the deceased.
Offerings of vegetarian food and fruits.
After the offering, we would head to the urn display area to visit our grandparents.
