There are a lot of myths on what "not to do" during pregnancy. Cannot renovate house as it leads to abortion or bb deformities, cannot eat crab as the bb will walk sideways, cannot name bb during pregnancy as the evil spirit will hunt the bb, the list just goes on and on...
we are planning a short trip b4 the Megan arrive! Here's what I have gathered.
1. It is safe to travel provided there are no pre-existing complication.
2. The second trimester is the best time to travel. Not recommended to fly after 36 weeks.
3. Ask for an aisle seat, take a walk every 30mins interval on long flights and drink plenty of fluids.
4. Airport metal detectors detects metal elements, they are not x-rays machine.
