My favorite portion of the Southern Ridges is the forest walkway. The walkway spans from the Alexandra Arch up to Telok Blangah Hill. Naturally, most people (I reckon 99%) would choose to take the elevated walkway, not knowing the ground level earth trails proved to be as interesting. There is a main entrance along Henderson Road and multiple stairways that leads from the elevated walkway.
It's always interesting to view things from a totally different perspective.
Slight drizzle today, another perfect day for a stroll! Major works along the upper section leading toward Telok Blangah Hill.
The lower earth trails reminds me of Pulau Tekong, a small trail with greeneries on both side. The pathway seems to be a composite mixture of gravel and tar that provides very good grip. Niu Niu agrees too!
The floor is littered with leaves, seeds, petals, flowers. Take your time to stroll thru and appreciate.
The colors stand out among the dark gravels.
wow.. never expect the orangy fungi
does anyone known the name of this plant?
Walking towards Alexandra Arch, the trail leads to a small exit at Preston Road.
