Riverside

I have not seen the river this clean, sparkling! This view reminds me of the Otaru Canal. On a good day, you can stroll from here to the mouth of the Singapore River (where the Merlion is) and take a river cruise back. Check out the map.

Robertson Quay has sprung to life again. Usually locals and tourists would hang around Boat Quay and Clarke Quay. With more eateries opening for business, this area has attracted more people than before. There are at least 4 Japanese restaurants here, serving rather authentic food and a favorite for local Japanese expatriate.
