Operation Taiwan Photo Book

After 2 full weeks of selection and layout, managed to complete all 76-1 pages of the Taiwan Travelogue album. The most tedious part of the process is the selection of the images. On average, I took around 500 photo per day and its really difficult to filter down to the final 160. Next step is to convert into PDF and look thru the flow.

Adding on...
Talking about inspiration, PageOne at Vivo City and Flickr are my constant source of ideas and they are free!

Came across bubustudio on Flickr 2 days back. A prefect example of good image, layout and design. View more here.

The photographer's book on Taipei.

Layout can be kept simple but follows a certain grid system, it helps to guide yr eye across the images/pages.

I loved page spreads. Especially in this image, where the vertical strips of the zebra crossing span across 2 pages.
