We do a lot of Japanese and Korean food when we dine out. Our favorite Jap place at Cuppage Plaza. During weekends, there are lots of Japanese working folks and families here. The interesting fact is, we dun even bother to find out the name of the shop. Just go to 2nd floor and find the green signboard!
This place look very 80s. You do not see sushi belts here and the furnishing look as if there are there for 20 years! Poor Jen prepares to get poked again before food. Nowadays, we have to be more diligent in what we eat, especially on the amount of carbo.
But they do serve very authentic Japanese food, even the menu is 80% Japs. I always end up asking what is this...got rice a not...Prices are really reasonable, much cheaper than the Jap food chains found in malls. The entire meal is less than $30.
