Today we bought the infant car seat for out BB, the Maxi-Cosi Cabriofix. We have decided on the Black Quinny Buzz, thus the choice of a red car seat. Baby Hypermart is giving 25% off and thus another great buy in the times of inflation! Beside using it as a travel system, the Cabriofix also serve as a rocker when use as home. The support pillow and side protector adds on to the overall safety!

That's the main reason why we chose a infant seat as it has proper features built to secure/protect the BB spine and neck.You never know when some blur fcuk bump into yr car! ahem. Read that the safest position to place the car seat is at the center rear of the car. Reason is simple, away from the window if it shattered.

There are mainly 3 different types of car seats, Infant, Convertible and Booster. Infants car seats are for 0-12months, similar to the Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix we bought. Convertible seats can be use from 0-4yrs.You rear face the seat when the baby is at infant stage and switch to front facing when he turns a toddler. Boosters are for child 3yrs and above, placing them in a position so they are able to use the car seat belt,

1. Facing rearwards, place the front strap onto the two blue holder on the side

and the other strap to the back of the seat. Bingo!
