Southern Ridges:::Henderson Waves

The Henderson Waves is a 36m high bridge that connects Telok Blangah Hill and Mt Faber. This bridge is part of the Southern Ridges, a 9km chain of greenery. If you have 5hrs(data from newspaper) to spare, the entire route will take you from Harbour Front MRT to Kent Ridge Park (NUS). View map. A visual guide from deadpoetscave.com.

We started around 6.30pm from Telok Blangah Hill and walk up a steep slope to Henderson Wave. It is really crowded. Before the official opening, there are normally no more than 20 people on Telok Blangah Hill at this timing.The stroll was a breeze and you can stop at different point to view the scenery. Actually a potential spot to commit suicide!

Looking toward Mount Faber.

From Mt .Faber end looking at Telok Blangah Hill. Maybe they should incorporate BUNGY jumping!

The sunset was great as it lowers into the tree canopy. Read more on CNA | AsiaOne | Straits Times
An old post on the construction. Looking forward to explore other sections!
