I love urinal with photograph. It ease the process!
Taiwan is similar to Japan in my areas. The hotel manager will bid goodbye when you leave.
Next highlight of the day is 九份. An old mining town up in the mountains. That's the Eastern most tip of TW.
Old residential transformed into tea houses along the streets.
The old cinema was closed in 1986. Adds to the old rustic feel of this old town.
amid the shops and eateries, there are still some residential along the streets.
From 九份, we took a train to 花蓮. A 2.5 hrs trip.
From the train station, the tour bus traverse along the mountainous terrain to Taroko (太魯閣) . These roads are carved out of the cliffs, check out how narrow some parts of the roads are. Yes, this is a 2 way lane and the poor motorist is almost squeezed into the gorge!
how about a cuppa of coffee.
