Karang_guni or commonly known as the rag and bone man is fast becoming a vanishing trade in Singapore. They used to pop our door step, paying us a few cents for our old newspaper, clothes and magazine. Nowadays, they tends to be more choosy on the item they collect. Some even reject my old computer or even empty card boxes.

In 1999, the cash converters open in SG. They encourage people to trade in their items and its COD! Sometimes, you are able to find gems in the store, ranging from old CDs, speakers to camera and jewelleries!
