Starhub ups my broadband speed to 8Mbps. Unfortunately this figure is actually the advertised speed, not the actual speed that you surf. As compared to the world, Singapore BB speed is still relatively slow. Actual surfing speed for most develop countries is around 3-5Mbps. While in Japan, the internet speed is rather fast..almost instant for most webpages.
