Guess everyone is looking forward to Chinese New Year, a two day break in February! According to the Chinese calendar, 2008 is the year of the RAT(Earth) and that explain all the RAT decoration seen around town.

In the past, Chinese used to paste these "written text" on two sides of their door. The couplets (春联) bears special meaning, usually meant to bring luck and prosperity to the family.
