Tea corner

These are the rooms we stayed in the Onsen. The floors are tatami (straw mat). The room functions as a living and dining room during the day and as a bedroom at night. The chairs are very comfortable and tends to keep your spine straight. The futon(mattress) are kept in the cupboard (seen on the right).

Note: Most of these are smoking room, which means the filters in the air cons are filled with (you can imagine)!

Our little tea area back home. One our best buy in Japan are the two red colored seats (similar to those in Onsen) but made of aluminum and fabric. The table was handmade by my father-in-law years back. We refurbish the top when we shifted in. The room would be perfect if it had a full mirror balcony!
