1. Ueno
2. Ameyoko
3. Akihabara
2 small shrines in font of the hotel
another day in Ikebukuro
JR to Ueno. It's faster on the JR than on Metro, so plan your route well.
Lockers for umbrella.
Performance in Ueno Park (δΈιε
¬ε). You can easily spent a full fay here. Great museums, people watching and even a zoo.
Shrine within the park.
Sushi bar at ameyoko. Breaking my record....the cheapest plate is $130 yen. Wait till I try the "Best of the Best" sushi @ Tsujiki Fish Market.
The Ameyoko runs roughly south of Ueno station along the inside of the JR Yamanote line tracks to Okachimachi station. This is a bazaar style market from clothes to daily products and dried goods.
that's a lot fo egg!
The market runs along the JR line.
Never expect this when we come out of akihabara station. Check out when the lens are pointing. Oh no...I am one of them too....
err....not too sure what's this guy doing.
Beside electrical products...it's tons of anime stuff.
On the way back to the station...
More on Ikebukuro. There is actually a lot more to do here if you want to say away from the crowd in Shibuya. There is Parco, Seibu and Tobu. Lots of small shops, Sunshine 60 and even Bic camera is here.
The frogman calls it a day!
Pause cafe. Cosy cafe with a gallery within. The cheese cake are good.
