Hokkaido: Day 2 continue...tour

Destinations
1. Chitose Salmon Museum
2. Hokkaido Jingu Shrine
3. White Chocolate Museum (closed)
4. Otaru
5. Underground shopping street
6. Mt Moiwa night scene

Our safe and steady driver uncle..

First stop...Salmon Aquarium.

Beside the museum is Chitose River. The Salmon suppose to be swimming towards their breeding ground. Salmon spotted: 0

Next, Hokkaido Jingu Shinto Shrine. One of Japanese largest shrine.
Cleanse yourself before entering the shrine.

Prayers. 1. Bow..2.clap two x 3. Bow.

Kids are brought to the temple to be blessed.


Next to Otaru...

Old canal(
小樽運河) ...with warehouses along side.
In Winter | Evening | Nite |


The Otaru streets are filled with music box shops/museums and chocolates stores.
Free chocolate tasting. If you can walk pass 20 times...you have earned yourself a free box!

Cafe where you can enjoy free flow of coffee and keep the cup for memento!

Crabs along the streets.

This is what Otaru is famous for... music box. Choose a box, select a music and you have yourself a music box!
